But when that’s replicated over hundreds of rooms and you add in an on-site restaurant, a bar, room-service, leisure facilities, and a need to ensure every single person in your hotel is delivering an outstanding service whilst reacting to and, in fact, encouraging change and variety… we know things become a little more complex. This is where you come in.

We know that this success is made possible by our Outstanding People, and so, we are looking for an Operations Manager who is able to deliver consistent, authentic hospitality with a smile.

What will I be responsible for as an Operations Manager?

As an Operations Manager with Kew Green Hotels, you’ll spend the majority of your time supervising staff across a multitude of departments, ensuring that check-in runs smoothly, that your restaurant continues to receive great reviews, that the lobby is warm and welcoming. Not to mention, ensuring your team are happy and enjoying what they do by feeling trusted and respected, and that the rooms are actually full of guests for them to deliver an outstanding service to. You’ll do it all, leading from the front. You’ll be submerged in your daily operations, motivating employees and ensuring each department is contributing towards revenue and service targets. You will be the one checking for those little extras as you know it’s all in the detail.

Is this Operations Manager role right for me?

This Operations Manager opportunity has a focus on Food & Beverage as well as Conference and Events and so, you’ll possess a strong, dynamic F&B Management background and you’ll always be striving for outstanding. The environment you are coming into is very fast paced, there is always a conference or event or large table that needs you to oversee and ensure their expereince is first class. You’ll be one of those “think outside the box” types, you know – the type that really want to find ways to inspire loyalty, through ensuring each of our guests receives an outstanding service. How you do this is up to you, but we know through experience that those most successful Operations Managers within our hotels have an innate interest and demonstrable experience in the F&B/hotel industry, combined with a genuine passion for keeping up-to-date with market and competitor trends.

You’ll also be an outstanding people manager, who is able to lead and inspire individuals across a range of teams, not to mention being commercially focused with an understanding of how to drive improvements to metric performance.
