About The Role
The Office Services & Clerical Support Clerk performs proper internal and external mail service to the Hawaii Area office. Monitors and maintains inventory of office supplies for MNC. Incumbent will also provide clerical and administrative support to MNC.
What You’ll Do
Collect, sort, and distribute all incoming, outgoing and inter-office mail and deliveries. Calculate postage in accordance with USPS regulations. Maintain the postage meter available postage and supplies.
Process outgoing mail, including correspondence requiring special handling (registered, certified, insured, etc.), and packages for USPS and courier services (FedEx, Security Courier, etc.). Ensure contents are properly packed and sealed for safe distribution with minimal damage. Create airway bills for parcels and maintain receipts for tracking and billing.
Review ships schedule to coordinate and distribute vessel mail upon ship arrival and departure.
Track, order, receive, and stock office supplies inventory, and maintain storage of supplies in an orderly manner.
Perform administrative and clerical support functions, including data entry, equipment status updates, documentation processing, filing, and other routine duties for other departments as needed.

You Have These Skills
Must be proficient with personal computers: Microsoft Office and general knowledge of computer software applications.
Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize to maintain schedule and meet deadlines.
Able to work with a sense of urgency with attention to detail.
Good customer service and communication skills.
Must be able to understand and execute appropriate USPS regulations, including schedules, deadlines, restrictions, rates, and increases.
Demonstrated ability to follow established work processes and work independently.
Ability to successfully perform various administrative tasks.
And These Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and redirect priorities as needed.
Must have valid driver’s license.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TWIC card.
Extra Credit If You Have
Previous customer service experience preferred.
