Learning and Teaching Assistant

The Department of Geography has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a learning and Teaching Assistant. You will be responsible for providing a high level of support for key processes that assist the smooth delivery of learning and teaching for the Departments student population; working with both administrative and academic staff to enhance the student journey.

Being the main point of contact for student and staff enquiries, in person, by email or by telephone you will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and a commitment to providing an excellent service for students and staff.

The role has particular focus on providing support for student enquiries, student assessment and feedback, examination boards, induction, module selection, student attendance, student welfare and admissions. If this sounds like the next role for you we are excited to hear from you.
