12-month fixed term/ secondment – maternity cover
The Medical Specialities directorate is looking to recruit a Deputy General Manager to cover maternity leave for a period of 12 months. This exciting opportunity within the Directorate will support the divisional leadership team and the directorate General Manager.
You will be the nominated deputy to the Directorate General Manager and have responsibility for delivery on a number of overarching portfolios which span the Directorate. These will include, but are not restricted to, a focus on covid-19 recovery plans, RTT Performance, and delivery, staff engagement and communication, workforce planning, oversight on delivery of the directorate financial efficiency target and working closely with externally provided data (GIRFT, Model Hospital etc) to drive service improvement.
The Directorate covers services at both Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells sites.
You must have experience in operational management, project management, NHS policy, contracting and funding, strategic planning and delivery, development and delivery of staff development projects and communications strategies.
