MAIN PURPOSE
As part of the our MEIA Press Relations Team, in the role of V.I.E – Press Relations Coordinator, you will support the Press Relations Team in treating the press and celebrities. The length of this V.I.E assignment is 12 months and ideally starts in November 2022, the position is based in Dubai.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
Press & Celebrity treatments:
Support the Press Relations Team for the MEIA Region to treat the Press and Celebrities;
Coordinate the press trips (media list, accomodation, lunches, dinners, entertainment, requests, etc.);
Organize interviews with Cartier spokespeople;
Follow-up the budget, secured coverage and an estimate of the ROI of the Press treatments;
Manage and co-manage the Press events guest lists, attendance, follow-ups and invitation dispatches together with the PR Manager;
Cost-out the celebrity and press gifts in collaboration with the Supply Chain team;
Arrange and manage the press gifts closet and itinerary;
Press Relations Editorial Planning:
Arrange consignments and delivery to press and celebrities for red carpet moments and photoshoots;
Keep track of main products to be pushed each month with the Marketing Team;
Consinuously pitch the novelties for editorial photoshoots and features;
Organize press assets and folders for the PR team to facilitate the pitching process;
Follow-up the media requests (press material, photoshoot requests);
Develop the press materials for events (press kits, visuals, gifts, etc.);
Reporting and analysis:
Prepare daily presentations and reports for internal communication purposes;
Organise weekly meetings with the team members to ensure deadlines are properly met for various projects;
Lead the weekly press review;
Coordinate the PR movie as well as short movies for Seminars and Internal Strategy Meeting with an agency;
Consolidate a post event reporting to be shared with the Central teams on press attendance, postings, coverage and highlights;
Follow-up the main PR indicators (ROI, Advertising Value Equivalency, Clippings, etc.), and present the results analysis.

A knowledge of the current PR and celebrity landscape is a plus
As a Press Relations Coordinator, you will have a great opportunity to be an essential contributor in a dynamic team, working for the success of a first-class Luxury Maison under strong business acceleration and transformation.
You have a Bachelor Degree in Communication or Marketing / Business Management and have ideally worked or seek interest in the Luxury Industry. You show strong communication skills, you are client-centric and goal oriented. You are a creative thinker, show strong emotional intelligence, flexibility and attention to details.
Fluency in English with pristine written and oral skills is required, the knowledge of an additional language such as French or Arabic is a plus.
YOUR JOURNEY WITH US
Firstly, you will be engaging with an online video interview of 15min for us to assess your understanding of the position, and motivations
Subsequently, you will be meeting with International Talent Acquisition team to dive deeper and assess your fit to this role
Finally, you will be able to meet with the local Hiring Team (Local HR and Hiring Manager).
