What you’ll do
The Product Governance & Execution Specialist is accountable for driving overall governance and planning activities across all of Product including Product content team. It will include the development and execution of planning, prioritization, best practices, execution activities and process enhancements. They are also responsible for providing guidance and support as a governance subject matter expert.
Create and Maintain Standardized Governance practices
Establish, create and update Product process maps and tools/templates to ensure alignment and uniformity within Product as well as across the organization.
Lead effort to ensure ownership and traceability with all decisions and roadmap vision within Product
Representation on enterprise projects across all portfolios
Representing Product on enterprise initiatives across all portfolios. This includes providing project management services and acting as conduit to the subject matter experts with regards to product impacts
Ensuring visibility on all project timelines; including reporting, managing or escalating any issues early so as to not compromise project success
Ensure both experienced and new members are supported through their growth within the team and are aligned.
Support one point of contact within the product team as well as across our business partners within the organization
What you bring
Must-have experience, knowledge, skills & abilities
Leading the execution of continuous improvement initiatives by working with key stakeholders across various departments and levels in the organization to conduct assessments, make recommendations and lead all implementation activities
Ensure all process, templates, etc… are shareable and available for all product team including new hires
The incumbent plays an advisory role to team members providing guidance and direction for day-to-day project processes and procedures and first point of escalation prior to engaging the management team.
Facilitate brainstorming sessions and/or process review sessions within Product
Identify areas of opportunity through governance checkpoint audits (process, templates etc)
Communicate and partner with ePMO, and other business teams to ensure project process are efficient and/or work together to close gaps
Support the product lifecycle and continue to monitor and create efficiencies within product and across organization
Continue to support the growth of the Product team by monitoring changes across the organization.
Comply with corporate policies established by Moneris Corporation including but not limited to the HR Code of Conduct, Technology Policy & Privacy Policy
Perform other duties, as required
Proficiency in payment systems is an asset

Who you’ll work with:
Our Product and Partnership team consists of four functions; Client Solutions and Integrations, Product Operational Support, Partners, and Strategy and Corporate Development. We are responsible for the ongoing evolution of Moneris’ product portfolio and lead the strategy and development of merchant payment solutions. We ensure to always keep up to date on emerging trends in the market and jump on opportunities to provide our merchants with the best enhancements to make their businesses thrive.
