Talentworld is currently seeking a Scheduler/Planner to create and implement a scheduling plan for production and manufacturing, manpower planning, and customer needs to be met in a timely manner.
TalentWorld is recruiting for a Scheduler/Planner in Barrie.
Scheduler/Planner Responsibilities
Review open sales orders via Sales Order Summary report daily
Create bulk and finished goods jobs using ERP/MRP based on the Sales Order report
Collaborate with purchasing department on material requirement
Communicate with partnering Scheduler on job bulk job or component/packaging delays Collaborate with Production Coordinator on re-work and re-service jobs when necessary, Communicate with Key Account Coordinator on changes to current production schedules
Monitor job status
Coordinate with Plant Manager
Scheduler/Planner Qualifications
Post-secondary education in planning, administration, or related field experience
2-5 years of material scheduling/planning experience in a manufacturing environment
ERP experience preferable
Working knowledge of schedule processes
Proficient computer skills – MS Office
