Main Duties
Contribute to the overall business strategy and annual budget process.
Responsible for managing relationships and negotiating with key suppliers at a senior and strategic level.
Support, implement, and maintain a supplier relationship and evaluation process to measure effective supplier performance and compliance.
Support consistent supplier management and introduction.
Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the purchasing strategy.
Communicate with stakeholders the impact of market change and potential effects on supply. Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimising cost.
Contribute to new business initiatives, projects, and review and communicate the impact on Purchasing and distribution activities.
Support strategy and best practices to ensure achievement of overall business objectives.
Work with the Purchasing Manager to achieve specific annual performance goals and departmental objectives including KPIs, Financial Budget and Control.

Skills And Attributes
Experience in a Purchasing/Procurement role with a proven record of delivering excellent supply change management, ideally with experience in a manufacturing production environment.
Excellent negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
A driven and motivated individual with a strong analytical mindset and a desire to progress.
Ability to manage varying priorities and work to tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills.
Persistent strength of character and able to challenge status quo, whilst working collaboratively with stakeholders.
Expert at building collaborative relationships internal and external to ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Full driving licence.
SAP Business One experience is preferable but not essential.
