The Position

As a Senior Financial Analyst with Intrepid, you will focus on business partnering and supporting the North America region, including supporting and partnering with Senior Leadership. You will work closely with the Regional and Group Finance team on reporting and analysis of Intrepid Group operations, as well as the budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities. You will bring your strong knowledge of your region’s financial and business models and guide and provide advice to the business leaders.

 

This role requires an in-depth understanding of the underlying financial results and success in this role requires resourcefulness and a high level of initiative along with the ability to tackle problems in a methodical and logical manner. You will take on a lead finance position, which will require the capability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and demonstrate an ability to influence decision-making while maintaining an element of flexibility to provide financial analysis and recommendations to key stakeholders in a continually changing business environment.

 

This is a full-time permanent position, based in Toronto where we offer flexibility and hybrid working! We believe vaccines play a critical role in the safe return of travel. To ensure our workplaces are safe, we require proof of Covid-19 vaccination when you work from an Intrepid office, attend company events or travel on trips.

 

Some of the essentials you’ll have are:

University Degree – Business, Accounting or Economics and a CPA qualification (or near completion)
4+ years’ experience in an FP&A or similar role with strong compliance and commercial acumen
Experience and knowledge of Accounting packages
Experience in managing broad Finance functions
Experience in business performance reporting & planning
Demonstrated wider commercial and business acumen
