Processing Technologist II

What will you do?

Safely manufactures high-quality pharmaceutical products according to established schedules.

Responsibilities:
Processes/manufactures products in accordance with written processing orders.
Prepares manufacturing areas and equipment for the production of pharmaceutical products.
Cleans processing equipment and rooms in accordance with written Standard Operating
Procedures (SOPs) and established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Provides assistance and training to Processing Technologist I.
Effectively troubleshoots equipment they are trained on.
Provides feedback and process improvement suggestions.
Ensures product quality meets the standards of Patheon, our clients, and applicable regulatory
agencies including, but not limited to the Health Products and Food Branch Inspectorate (HPFBI),
United States Food & Drug Administration (FDA), and European Medicines Agency (EMEA).
Follows the required Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) and Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMP) requirements.
In this role, it is essential to perform shift work.

How will you get there?

Requirements:

Education:
A high school diploma/General Educational Development (GED) Certificate is required.

Experience:
Minimum 2 years of previous related experience in either powder blending/granulation, tablet compression and/or coating, with exposure in the areas of dispensing, liquids/ semisolids and tablet printing manufacturing.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Excellent organizational, documentation and housekeeping skills.
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment with limited supervision.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.
Excellent understanding of Standard Operating Procedures.
Excellent understanding of safety standards.
Proficiency in the English language.
