Job Purpose

To perform security assessments, recommending mitigating actions, ensuring data governance, promoting security awareness, and operating on-prem or cloud IT infrastructure or platforms.

Responsibilities

• Performs vulnerability scans of networks, applications, and endpoints.
• Taking needed actions and controls to ensure data security, and continuous computing environment.
• Promoting security awareness to other staff.
• Assists in the development and maintenance of IT policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Assists in the management of cloud and on-prem IT infrastructure.
• Assists in providing IT support to users.
• Guiding the process of purchasing software and online services.
• Any other tasks may arise by the line manager to properly support the department.

Note: the above-mentioned responsibilities are illustrative ones. Other future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job depending on the department’s organizational chart or title.

Qualification (Education/Work Experience)

A. Essential:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 Years’ experience in related IT field.
• Native Arabic, very good level in English.

B. Desirable:

• Mastes’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 4 Years’ experience in related IT filed.
• Native Arabic, advance level in English.
• Possessing at least one of the certificates listed below would be an advantage:
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate – Routing and Switching (CCNA)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate – Security (CCNA-Security)
  • Other related Microsoft certifications.

• Demonstrate significant experience and understanding of O365 security and compliance tools.
• Good understanding of the GDPR, KVKK, and ISO 27001 Security Framework.
• Analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting skills.
