ASSISTANT, HR EMPLOYEE SERVICES TRANSACTIONS (TEMPORARY FULL TIME)

The Assistant, HR Employee Services Transactions is responsible for working collaboratively with managers and human resources, staff scheduling and payroll staff to ensure the quality and integrity of data entered into the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). The incumbent processes a variety of confidential HR transactions related to employee record and salary/wage rate changes, hires, position tracking, job postings. The incumbent responds to requests and inquiries from clients, or redirects as appropriate.

Diploma in Human Resources Management plus one (1) to two (2) years of recent experience in HR or Administration, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Computer literate with proficient knowledge of Outlook, Internet, Word, Excel and other HRIS systems.
Ability to organize and prioritize work with minimal direction and work independently.
Ability to set and maintain priorities, work under pressure and be results oriented Ability to process a high volume of HR transactions in a timely and accurate manner Ability to attend to detail and quality while balancing multiple priorities
Ability to work effectively under the pressure of deadlines.
Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills.
Professional telephone manner.
Ability to type 40 w.p.m.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
