Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills who is able to drive forward the councils waste reduction strategy.
You will need to have experience in project planning and be capable of delivering a message and presenting to a wide range of audiences in an interesting and informative way and promoting community involvement in environmental issues. You must have an eye for detail, be good at report writing and using databases, be comfortable with statistics and be computer literate.
A positive outlook will be required for this role as you will be also be promoting our services and actions and you will also have to ensure there are good communication streams set up between different service areas and local residents.
The job will involve working flexible hours, including occasional weekends and you will have to have a reasonable degree of physical fitness as you will be required to monitor areas and carry out surveys that will require a significant amount of time standing and walking.
