From Monday March 30th we have changed the previous walk-in policy of our clinics to a new appointments system. Further details: IBTS COVID-19 EMERGENCY UPDATE

Give blood at one of our clinics at a location near you (approx every 3 months if possible).

Irish Blood Transfusion Service needs to collect 3000 donations every week but currently only 3% of the eligible population in Ireland currently donate.

1 in 4 people will require a blood transfusion.

Visit our website giveblood.ie and check you eligibility. You can either attend a clinic or register your interest on the website.

At local clinics every three months throughout the country. In addition, we have permanent clinics in D’Olier Street and Stillorgan (both Dublin) and St Finbarrs Hospital Cork

What’s Required

No skills needed – although not everybody is able to give blood – for many varying reasons. You can take the eligibility test on www.giveblood.ie to see if you might be able to give blood
