Volunteer – Befriending (Ukrainian Support)

Task

We are looking for volunteers to help us create a panel of befriending volunteers.

Volunteers will help Cork based charities and non-profit organisations with supporting Ukrainian refugees.

The Role May Include

  • Spending time chatting over a cup of tea.
  • Doing an activity.
  • Helping someone to become familiar with the area.

The role of the volunteer will depend on the services provided by the organisation.

Garda Vetting may be required.

About Us

C.O.R.K. (Community Outreach Resources & Knowledge ) is a Cork Volunteer Centre initiative with the aim of supporting the Ukrainian Community in Cork.

Support will include, outreach to relevant areas; providing resources to the Ukrainian community to easily engage in volunteerism and integrate into their local communities; providing knowledge and training to key Ukrainian support organisations.
