Volunteer Ireland

Task

Core Ireland is currently seeking a Fundraising volunteer to join the Core Team. Applicants must be enthusiastic, motivated, creative, able to work in a team environment, and have good communication skills.

Duties Include

  • Raising awareness of the organisation’s financial needs
  • Developing corporate social responsibility programs
  • Recruiting sponsors for fundraising events
  • Identifying and building relationships with potential donors and benefactors
  • Developing fundraising activity plans with an aim to maximise participation or contributions and minimise costs
  • Directing and coordination of web-based fundraising activities
  • Creating reports detailing event outcomes and making recommendations for future events
  • Liasing with Events Manager to develop new fundraising strategies

About Us

Core Ireland is a community mental health charity in Navan, County Meath. We develop and deliver free mental wellbeing courses to those with lived experience, family members, and professionals that work within the mental health services. Our courses are co-produced. We act as a hub that connects with and provides services for the community. Our projects and services are available to all members of the public. Our services are strictly confidential. Core Ireland has many volunteers, with a wide range of experiences. This now includes many volunteers who are office-based or contribute remotely from all over Ireland. Each volunteer plays an essential role in Core and brings their own unique personality and qualities which in turn shapes our development.
