Volunteer Ireland
Task
Friends Of Ukraine Kilmuckridge have been very busy supporting their new Ukrainian families over the past few months. The support received from locals and neighbouring areas has been amazing. One of the biggest challenges has been the language barrier. But we have two amazing teachers who have been delivering English lessons voluntarily and doing a fab job. Now with the summer here we have decided to move to conversational lessons and use the fine weather to do a project called Walk and Talk. This entails local people offering an hour or so to walk and chat with the families about anything and everything in order to improve their English. So we are looking for volunteers. If you can spare some time please register your interest below.
