Volunteer Ireland
Many new parents in Ireland, and women experiencing unexpected pregnancies, struggle with the nagging question: how will I provide for my baby?
Community Connect exists to help answer this question with practical, material supports so that mums and parents feel more secure and supported in bringing their baby into the world.
We meet at the storage unit once a week. The day varies according to what suits the volunteers..
Our main activities are sorting and packing up clothes, nappies and essentials and organizing buggies and cots for the families we are delivering to that week. We help up to 20 families each week and need optimistic volunteers to help us prepare mama and baby items.
If you would like to make a real difference for families in need and have some fun in the process (coffee, tea and biscuits are provided) please get in touch with us!!!
