What will you be doing?
Working either from home or in our friendly office based in Wythenshawe Manchester you will ideally be able to do the following –
- Be able to assess the state of our current social media platforms and make recommendations on how we can improve our presence and engagement and where we might be able to focus our efforts.
- Provide guidance on how we can manage our social media channels on an ongoing basis.
- Produce fresh and engaging content for our social media channels.
- Engage with our followers and encourage interaction.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a volunteer who has experience in the following –
- Writing and editing marketing content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Instagram.
- Building strategies to increase our social media following/presence.
The volunteer should also have
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly understand the needs of our team.
- can ask key questions to enable us to clarify our requirements.
- Understand the resource constraints of a small charity and be able to work with these.
- Is open to feedback.
What difference will you make?
Your input will help shape how we as a small charity present ourselves to our service users, funders and the general public. With you’re help we will be able to continue to carry out our services better and reach out to more people.
