What will you be doing?
We are seeking a Chair of the board of Trustees, who will not only bring with them self-motivation, time and dedication but will also bring passion, drive, enthusiasm and a real energy and buzz to the role, to really help us make a difference in the lives of young people aged 16 to 26 years old, as well as being a great leader that can bring other Trustees along with us.
What are we looking for?
Trustee roles are usually governance and strategy based but as a new start-up and very small charity with no paid staff, Trustees will be expected to support in areas that would usually be designated for operational staff from time to time, such as fundraising and bid writing for example.

As Chair of the board of Trustees you will be working to drive the Board of Trustees, support the CEO and Management Team and help us make a positive impact in the lives of young people. As this role is voluntary, the role offers great flexibility to fit around your time (including daytimes, evenings and/or weekends, however the majority of our work will take place at bi-monthly evening meetings with occasional weekend daytime activities).
