Role Overview
We’re looking for a talented IT Support Technician to join our team. We’re small, dynamic, fast-moving and developing on the cutting edge of drone technology and image processing. In this role, you will manage our current systems and assets, recommend and implement improvements, and provide training to users as needed. Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, has knowledge of core IT technologies, and the technical skills to keep us efficient. From day one, you’ll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations, and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.
Responsibilities
Train employees on software, troubleshoot, and provide technical support as needed
Automate repetitive tasks
Maintain and execute standard procedures for common tasks that are not automatable
Track and maintain hardware (including laptops and drones) and software license inventory
Requirements
Excellent customer service skills
Reliable at following written procedures
Expertise in core IT support technologies, including managing OSX/Windows laptops, video conferencing, WiFi, etc.
2+ years experience in Information Technology using technologies such as collaboration tools (e.g. Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace), device management tools (e.g. Kandji, Jamf, SMMC, Kace, etc.), and task management software (e.g. Jira, Asana, Zendesk, etc)
Demonstrated ability to write simple code scripts to automate tasks
Able to work between Monday – Friday, 9 am – 3 pm PST
Able to work 100% remote
Must be able to travel domestically for team and company events
