Position Purpose
Supports the Manager, International Affairs with the development, implementation and promotion of international activities and projects involving the Faculty of Engineering. Collects information concerning international programs and potential international partnerships. Assists international students as well as visitors with the objective to increase the visibility of the faculty and its programs at the international level and attract international students. Supports the Manager in areas of strategic alignment and operational efficiency ensuring smooth operations and implementation of activities and projects.
What You Will Bring
A Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of the university, and its administrative regulations including curricula, admission regulations, registration procedures, rules, and regulations at the undergraduate and graduate level as well as a good knowledge of all services offered to students
Knowledge of international education systems at the undergraduate and graduate level
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and triage work based on sound decision-making principles and organizational objectives, and produce high quality work under pressure while meeting strict deadlines
A well-organized, enthusiastic, reliable, and cooperative personality
Aptitude for teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
Excellent organization, analytical and planning skills
Ability to perform in-depth research from internal and external sources
Intercultural communication ability and a great sense of diplomacy
Ability to interact with and assist visitors from foreign countries and cultures
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access), word processing, Windows, and Internet
Bilingual in English and French with well-developed oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of additional language is an asset
