The Immigration System and Data Administrator will support the Immigration team with respect to data management, document management and administrative functions. The position will report to the Immigration Practice Manager.

Vaccination against COVID-19:

Providing proof that you are up to date with your COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement of employment, unless you have a medical or religious basis precluding vaccination for which you are legally entitled to an exemption and that the exemption can be accommodated by the firm. Consistent with this requirement, prior to your start date, you will be required to provide proof that you have received all recommended doses in the primary series and one booster when eligible. Generally, we consider an employee eligible for the booster if they completed the primary series of the vaccine at least six months ago and have not tested positive for COVID-19 in the prior 90 days. Getting a second booster is not necessary to be considered up to date at this time.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform database administration, which includes the following tasks:

Generating and structuring case management reports;

Performing data audits;

Managing case inquiries with USCIS and Department of Labor.

Lead integration process for new document assembly platform; collaborate on plans for API utilization and data extraction.

Manage process improvement and process automation efforts with docketing management system; liaise with vendors as needed.

Partner with IT Applications Analysts to generate section workload reports and identify ways to interface with other platforms.

Oversee case teams to build records for new clients and new case matters.

Train new Immigration section employees.

Train clients (Employers) on use of our internal client management system and reporting capabilities.

Work with software vendors to manage updates; train team on new features, resources, and best practices, as necessary.

Oversee client file transfer process with Information Governance team.

Mentor and train Immigration Docketing Case Assistant.

Assume additional responsibilities as requested.

This role requires 60% in office presence; remote work is permissible 40% of the time.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required.

5+ years experience in a law firm; business immigration experience strongly preferred.

Ability to handle multiple priorities with ease.

Passion for learning and continuous skill building.

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to execute through to completion.

Creative problem solving skills, reasoning ability, and logical thought process.
