Donations Manager – Remote

Mission:

A key role in developing and implementing Mary’s Meals Spain’s fundraising strategy to maximise income, working to achieve set targets as we strive to reach the next child waiting for Mary’s Meals..

Reporting to the Executive Director – Spain, you will be responsible for seeking and securing fundraising in different areas, with a special emphasis on securing institutional funding and working closely with public administrations, religious organisations, donors, companies, individuals and foundations.

Other key functions:

• Develop and execute strategies in line with Mary’s Meals’ vision, mission and overall objectives to pursue revenue-generating opportunities in all relevant sectors to meet our growth targets as we strive to reach 3 million children by 2023.
• Communicate and improve understanding of the impact of our work to donors.
• Write compelling funding proposals and present them to a wide range of audiences.
• Prepare monthly activity and financial reports and present them to a variety of audiences, including Board members, the Executive Director – Spain and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Board of Trustees and employees of Mary’s Meals International.
• Support the Executive Director – Spain as required in managing fundraising campaigns and carrying out other tasks.

• Be an exceptional communicator with the ability to tell our story and bring the impact of our work to life, for a variety of audiences.
• High level of English and willingness to travel.
• Be practical and proactive, working to challenging growth targets.
• You should have strong organisational skills and be comfortable working in multiples.
• Demonstrate simplicity, service and responsibility in all aspects of your role.

A varied and dynamic position, you will develop strong relationships in MM Spain, MM International and with our donors.
