The Equities Team within Schroder Investment Management (Switzerland) AG in Zurich are looking for a

Investment Product Analyst (80-100%)

Job specification
Perform portfolio analysis and produce reports/presentations for clients on market/portfolio performance and activity
Conduct company analysis including fundamental research and stakeholder analysis focusing on ESG (Ecological, Social and Governance) aspects.
Coverage of stocks and trying to identify undervalued companies in Switzerland and Europe.
Take on the role of the ESG Champion within the team: help implement the Group’s Sustainability Strategy for Swiss and European Equity portfolios, support fund managers with ESG engagement, exercise proxy voting rights, apply a range of proprietary sustainability tools of the Group as well as external research
Participate at industry fares, field trips, analyst meetings and on-site company visits
Support sales and client servicing in client communication, presentations and “beauty contests”
Assist trade implementation and oversee / control execution of purchases / sales
Step – in as deputy for other investment team members during their absence
Work on specific projects for business and product development, IT-improvements and other inter-disciplinary efforts

Required Profile
Degree in economics or finance combined with a specific further education like CFA, AZEK or equivalent (or willing to get such certification)
2+ years of experience working in Asset Management, preferably within Equities
Proven ability to handle a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment with structured, independent problem solving
Front and solution-oriented attitude
Client oriented attitude and ability to communicate at an advanced level with various stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal German and English communication skills, French is an advantage
