This role will be joining one of the fastest growing areas of the business and work across EMEA markets with retailers and distributors. This position is pivotal in supporting the team with administrative support with the opportunity to manage some of our strategic accounts. The successful candidate will be ready to learn how to deal with multiple markets and cultures and wants to be part of a supportive and growing team.
The Role
We are looking for a highly driven and energetic individual who can manage various tasks at one time in a fast-paced environment, is a positive team player and has some prior experience in a commercial role. Microsoft Excel proficiently would be highly desirable. You will be reporting to the Senior National Account Manager and assisting the Commercial Beauty team with several duties involving analysis, reports, forecasting, account management and general admin/commercial support.
Duties/Accountabilities
Your main duties will involve (but not limited to):
- Create/support a consumer facing, brand building Commercial Plan for our Distributors
- It will be the guardian and steward of the PZ Brands toward our Distributors
- It will act as key contact for allocated distributors and develop plans in line with targets. Manage and deal with all distributor requests for information
- The role will analyse sales data and other performance metrics to support decision making and course correction to business plans
- The role will provide key analysis on data to support launch plans in new markets including price checks, competitor activity, competitor marketing activities
- Provide administrative support with pricing, forecasting, and preparing weekly sales numbers.
- Be main point of contact between Customer Services, Operations, and selected Distributors.
- Manage registration process for new products.
- Work with Demand Planning team to ensure forecasts are accurate and in line with targets and customer requirements.
- Liaise with Operations, Customer Services and Distributors to ensure orders are shipped timeously and any issues anticipated and resolved.
- Build and own monthly sales data reporting dashboard
- Regularly review pricing and retailer .com sites to ensure consistency across markets.
- Manage sample orders and raising Purchase Orders
Key Attributes/Skills:
- Graduate with a degree in business or marketing, ideally with at least 18 months of experience in a commercial function
- Experience of working with external partners (Retail or Distributor)
- Demonstrate success in managing and developing sales growth with a retail or distributor partner
- Ideally (but not essential) worked with consumers/brands in EU based countries to create mutually profitable long-term working relationships
- Understanding of the retail, media & digital landscape
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel demonstrating the use of analysis to develop plans
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint
- Experienced in tracking and reporting on brand and commercial performance
