Who is Primary Care Knowsley?
Primary Care Knowsley (PCK) is a collaborative of 6 NHS GP Practices operating from 12 locations across Knowsley, Merseyside. In the last few years, we have grown the business by over 100%, so now is a great time to join us. We’ve already laid the groundwork and now, we are on our way to building something really special. As a dual-site Practice Operations Manager, you will join our close-knit, friendly team within two of our practices and you will be responsible for service improvement and delivery of key targets across the full range of clinical and administrative areas within the practice. You will be an excellent people and operational manager who will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of managerial duties to assist your team and you will act as the focal point of contact for liaising with MDT team members as well as other health professionals and staff within the practice. You will have the opportunity to work in partnership with staff and other managers, to have a voice through various mechanisms, and you will be encouraged to contribute your experience, expertise and ideas to improve patient and staff experience and engagement.
Requirements
You should join us if you have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Senior Administrator/ Deputy Practice Manager within general practice and looking to take your next career move.
- Experience of leading a team, with the ability to form strong stakeholder relationships at all levels.
- A high degree of personal organisational skill as well as a systematic approach to problem solving and planning as you will be responsible for the smooth running of the practice.
- Resilience to change – we are a fast-moving business with ambitious targets.
