Equality Diversity and Inclusion Officer

The Council places a high priority on equalities, diversity and inclusion and is looking for an experienced and innovative professional to lead and shape our approach.

Working with colleagues and partners, this post will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our equality, diversity and inclusion strategy and action plan.

Coordinating and managing projects you will make the Council a more inclusive employer and improve our engagement with residents, community groups and embed equalities in all aspects of our work.

We are seeking an outstanding individual with extensive experience of successfully delivering projects and achieving change related to equalities. You will have an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and the ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of colleagues, partners and others.
