ENGINEERING
- Taking ownership in the development of one or multiple vehicle subsystems.
- 3D design and modelling of vehicle subsystems.
- Calculations and simulations of subsystem performance.
- Calculations on stiffness and strength of components including FEA.
- Creation of manufacturing and assembly drawings.
- Working together with engineers within and outside the vehicle team.
- Working together with development partners on the design and manufacturing.
- Managing the subsystems through production, assembly, and testing.
Functie-eisen
- Minimum of 3 years of experience related to the position.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with physical prototyping and testing mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of design for manufacturing for most common production methods (sheet metal, machining, lathing, extrusion, casting etc.).
- Experience with geometric dimensioning & tolerancing.
- Experience with 3D modelling (CAD) software
- Experience with FEA software
- Excellent communication skills in English, prefarable Dutch
