Our client is a leading global provider of renewable solutions in packaging, wooden construction and paper with several production sites in Austria, whereof one of the production facilities is located near Amstetten (Lower Austria).
Because of retirement we are looking for an experienced accountant, who will be employed in one of the Austrian company locations. In this position you are going to report to the Finance Manager in Finland.
You are responsible for:
- Creating the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
- Preparation of reports according to IFRS
- The reporting line is according to the finance manager in Finland
- Responsible for VAT analysis and reporting
- Ensure transfer pricing documentation
- Main contact person and coordinator in the accounting matters and audit
- Other local reporting tasks
Requirements profile:
- Several years of experience in balance sheet accounting
- Academic degree or balance sheet accounting certificate
- Strong focus on business
- Knowledge of the IFRS reporting standards and local accounting standards
- Strong analytical and digital skills
- SAP knowledge would be beneficial
- Very good knowledge of English in spoken and written
