As Functional Safety Team Manager for Compiler Tools you will build a worldwide team of developers tasked with developing the specifications and artifacts to ensure compiler tools’ compliance to ISO26262 and IEC61508 safety standards. You will work with compiler tool safety consultants and manage a local and distributed team of engineers to build “qualification kits” – software packages used by internal and external customers that ensure compliance to safety standards.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop the requirements and define the deliverables related to compiler tool safety compliance
  • Build and manage a worldwide team of developers to create “safety qualification kits” for NXP compiler products
  • Manage the development project from concept to delivery and maintenance
  • Work with consultants to ensure compliance to safety standards of compiler tools
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external customer to gather and meet requirements
  • Collaborate with the compiler development team to develop safety conforming tests.
  • Work with the NXP software quality teams to enact practices to ensure the highest levels of software quality are maintained.

Contract: This is a fulltime position with a permanent contract
