We re looking for home-based telephone interviewers nationwide to join IFF s award-winning Interviewing Services team. Our evening and weekend shifts are available immediately and there s absolutely no selling involved. Plus, we pay all interviewers the London Living Wage on successful completion of your training period regardless of your location.

You ll be working on research projects that involve calling individuals on behalf of Government agencies such as the Welsh Government to help understand how to improve employment opportunities in the European Union and to help raise standards of living, and designated bodies like Higher Education Statistics Agency speaking with graduates from UK Higher Education institutions.

We have three shifts available from Monday to Sunday, so you can choose which works best for your schedule, and the days you want to work.

Choose From
Evening shifts Monday to Friday, start at 3pm/4pm/5pm and finish at 8pm/9pm
Saturday shifts, start at 10am/2pm and finish at 2pm/6pm
Sunday shifts, start at 11am/2pm and finish at 3pm/6pm

We simply ask you to commit to 12 hours per week to build familiarity and experience with our systems and the project.

You ll receive full training and support, and our Team Leaders will be on hand to support you through each project and help you succeed.

Key Requirements
Experience of telephone interviewing or speaking with the public over the phone is desirable, but not essential
More important is the right attitude. We re looking for professional and personable people, with a can-do attitude that align with our company values
You will need to provide your own equipment to carry out the role, including a computer or laptop, ethernet cable and a suitable USB headset.

Internet Requirements
You MUST be connected directly to your router via an ethernet cable.
Connection via WiFi (including WiFi Extenders, WiFi + Powerline/standalone Powerline adapters) are not supported while working for us.
Supported Operating Systems
For Windows: Windows 10 version 2004 or later
For MacOSX: 10.15 (aka Catalina) or later
Any other operating systems such as ChromeOS or other Android type devices are not supported.

In The Role You Will
Attend briefing sessions
Conduct high quality quantitative interviews over the phone using a provided script
Gather and record accurate information from respondents
Conduct each interview in line with the outlined script and briefing materials
Ensure that the confidentiality of respondents, their responses and the research project are upheld at all times
Liaise with your designated Team Leader as and when required

Salary: 11.05 per hour (after a two-week training period or after working 32 hours, whichever comes later), plus holiday pay.
For the training period you will receive the national living wage of 9.50 per hour plus holiday pay.

Purpose Of The Role

To carry out high quality, quantitative interviews with key research audiences, as requested for research projects and by clients.

Key Duties
Attend Telephone Interviewer briefing sessions
Conduct high quality quantitative interviews via the telephone with key research audiences, in line with the interview script provided
Gather and record accurate information from respondents
Conduct each interview in line with the outlined script and briefing materials
Ensure that the confidentiality of respondents, their responses and the research project are upheld at all times
Effectively liaise with designated Team Leader as and when required

Person Specification
Ability to speak with respondents in an engaging, polite and professional manner.
Strong listening and interpersonal skills.
Good attention to detail.
Strong written and spoken English language skills, with knowledge of additional languages beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time or part-time
