SUMMARY: The Office Services Assistant performs a wide variety of facility-related duties, which include providing a high level of customer service and support, while consistently producing an excellent work product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Clean conference rooms each morning, throughout the day, and each evening to ensure they are clean and stocked with supplies
· Move and builds office furniture as required
· Responsible for ordering all office and trial supplies
· Fill supply requests
· Stock, organize, and clean main supply rooms and satellite supply pantries
· Conference room set-up for meetings, depositions, and other special events
· Assist with moving boxes and inter-office moves
· Prepare offices and workstations for new hires; clean same for departing attorneys and staff
· Assist with general appearance of office, compiling checklist for maintenance issues, placing maintenance requests with vendors and building management, and informing Facilities Manager of any issues which require immediate attention
· Replace all office light bulbs and maintain a current inventory of stock
· Hang attorney office artwork
· In tandem with our outside vendor, care for firm plants
· Assist with pest control
· Perform such other duties that may be assigned from time to time that are reasonable and appropriate for the position
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Flexible for overtime
Ability to lift 50 pounds
