Environmental Scientist* to join their team! They are looking for a highly motivated, hard-working person who is seeking to join a stable environmental consulting & engineering firm that will invest in their development and professional growth. The Environmental Scientist responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Travel to projects/sites with small team or solo throughout the Northern VA area
Perform environmental sampling tasks at remediation sites
Collect soil, soil-gas, water (stormwater, surface water, groundwater), air samples
Gather, analyze, and interpret data
Perform Phase I ESA, Phase II ESA, Site Characterization and prepare reports
Skills:* environmental science, Regulatory compliance, environmental compliance, Hazwoper, Hazardous waste, Lab pack, Osha 40, Construction, Geology, Soil sampling, Osha, industrial hygiene, python, engineering, asbestos, groundwater, groundwater monitoring, groundwater sampling, environmental testing, remediation sites, remediation, biology
Top Skills & Qualifications:*
BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or other related field
Experience with environmental field work (sampling, data collection, report prep, etc.)
Ability to work outside in the elements
Valid driver’s license and good driving history
Experience Level:* Entry Level
