Essential Functions:
- Provide day-to-day supervision over CMA staff schedules
- Assist the IPS Supervisor with training new staff; provide shadow and observation training opportunities to new case managers
- Work closely with the RSS Support Specialist to schedule intakes, appointments, and workshops
- Assist team members that may have questions about referrals or intake processes
- Act as the first line of contact for staff questions regarding CMA procedures
- Update the IPS Supervisor on program activities as directed; assist the IPS Supervisor to submit trimester reports by providing pertinent data and information on case management activities
- Ensure information is being Entered into Client Track and Refugee Management System correctly and timely
- Coordinate with the staff of other RST programs for RCA enrollment of eligible clients
- Ensure RCA and RMA programs are being executed in compliance with the Providers Manual provided by the Regional Replacement Designee
- Conduct intakes and needs assessments for refugee clients referred to the Cash and Medical Assistance (CMA) Program as needed
- Assist team ensuring client eligibility for RCA in a timely manner to ensure clients receive full RCA benefits in accordance with program regulations
- Maintain timely case notes and case files per program requirements
- Refer non-exempt clients to the associated employment program; act on client non-compliance as soon as reported by employment program
- Oversee and Process check requests for client cash benefit disbursement and assist with the distribution of client checks including client signatures indicating cash benefit receipts as needed
- Adheres to policies related to boundaries with youth.
- Attends required abuse risk management training.
- Reports suspicious and inappropriate behaviors.
- Follows mandated abuse reporting requirements.
- Adheres to job specific abuse risk management responsibilities.
- Custodian ensures unused rooms and closets remain locked; routinely monitors high-risk locations (locker-rooms and bathrooms), etc.
- Front desk personnel ensures youth are properly signed in and signed out, ensures only authorized adults are allowed in the facility, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Valid Texas drivers license and minimum mandatory Texas automobile insurance coverage; Must have a car for frequent local travel
- Experience working with diverse populations and/or refugee social services programs preferred
- Experience and education may be substituted for one another
- High English language proficiency and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required
- High level of computer literacy required
- Fluency in an additional language spoken by the client base preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
