Here’s where you come in:
As the Senior Operations Manager for Program Funding, you will be the main point of contact for all operational and fundraising oversight of the eight-year (2023 – 2030) World Vision Economic Empowerment (EE) Business Plan covering $70 million of funding for VisionFund programming in 10 countries.
You will provide technical support to the Fundraising team on program implementation, M&E, accounting, and reporting. You will support more intentional integration with World Vision technical programs to improve programmatic coordination and communication in order to build more holistic and expansive programming.
You will coordinate the activities of the Fundraising team and VisionFund International (VFI)’s technical leadership for the EE Business Plan. You will ensure alignment between VFI, local Microfinance Institutions (MFI) offices, Technical Leads in VFI and with World Vision US in order to achieve EE Business Plan objectives. You will provide reports on fundraising activities and ongoing management of projects, and ensure fundraising activities are achieved through successful program implementation, financial management and reporting.
Requirements include:
- University degree in international development, economics, finance, project management, or related field
- This role requires at least 10 years’ experience in project management, fundraising, finance, international development, or corporate management setting dealing with senior management.
- Able to work in complex corporate culture and financial systems and ensure procedures internally and with third parties are well documented, monitored and executed.
- Excellent research skills and experience in M&E and donor reporting
- Experience with multi-faceted, multi-million dollar programming across a broad geography
- The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.
