Position:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Product Operations & Merchandising Intern will support merchandising activities for Kids, Athleisure, Swim and Underwear lines.

Core Job Responsibilities

Assist and support the Merchandising Dept. in all required daily activities

Support the preparation of all product materials/contents & selling tools for each product line:

Sales Book & Product material/contents

Salesman Samples

Arrival and Display preparation

Digital & 3D Catalogue

Product communications update during the sales campaign

Product Material for PR, Marketing & ADV office

Product Material for Merchant & Store Trainings

Support the activities related to the look book shooting: before (material shipment), during (set assistant), after (images postproduction follow-up)

Support Line opening presentation

Support ad-hoc projects & capsules

Support and follow up all the in-season requests (i.e. late-add/new opening/re-run styles)

Ensure frequent and clear communication across department

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Merchandising

Passion and attitude in the fashion field

Good knowledge of Windows Office and of the main pattern design systems

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Strong knowledge of using planning and analytical systems

Well-organized and able to multitask within a fast-paced environment Highly motivated and committed to the job assigned

Proactively works toward set goals

Attention to detail and follow-up

Flexible with the ability to adapt to complex business situations and with a strong sense of urgency

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external players

Positive attitude, open-minded, good team player

Excellent written and spoken English and Italian knowledge are essential for this role. Any other European language would be considered a plus
