Hosting events since 2014, pv magazine also has an established and successful international hybrid and virtual events presence. pv magazine Events encompass the flagship event series pv magazine Roundtables, the more succinct expert discussions at the pv magazine Insights, as well as the product launch platform pv magazine Spotlights and our knowledge platform pv magazine Webinars.

We are looking for

Based in Berlin, pv magazine is looking for a Manager Events and Webinars(m/f/x) to support the International Events team. Your focus will be on the management of our webinars and Spotlights program, but you will also help the Events team on other projects if necessary. In this position, you will work with another Manager Webinars and Events and will report to the Head of Events.

Missions

As a full-time Manager Events and Webinars (m/f/x) in the International Events team, you will:

• Be the customer liaison, prior to, during, and after the webinar, Spotlight, or event (email communication, scheduling, online calls).
• Manage event bookings in liaison with the Sales and Account Management teams.
• Edit event texts and teasers in liaison with the Editorial team.
• Prepare webpages, mailings, and visuals for individual events in liaison with the Marketing Team.
• Create post-event reports and assist in the annual analysis of all webinars and Spotlights.
• Support in streamlining existing workflows.
• Take responsibility to improve and refine processes and drive the development and implementation of new processes and technologies.
• Support the Events team in general, e.g., during live events.

Your profile

• Experience in event project management.
• Attention to detail and follow-through with the ability to complete tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills (spoken and written).
• Highly responsive and pro-active attitude.
• A high degree of maturity, professionalism, and service orientation.
• Problem-solver, fast learner, with strong analytical capabilities.
• Affinity for learning and introducing new technologies (e.g., Mailchimp, WordPress, BigMarker).
• Ability to work gracefully with multiple stakeholders and teams.
• Fluency in English. Other languages, particularly German, Spanish, French, will be viewed favorably.
• Proficient with the MS Office suite.
• Ability to think strategically about business and product challenges.
• Flexibility with working hours as our client base is international.
• Flexibility to travel to national and international tradeshows.
• Knowledge of the renewable energy industry, specifically solar PV, would be viewed favorably.
