Your responsibilities:
- Participate in the further development of STADA’s compliance management system, including, in the field of sanctions and export controls
- Ensure compliance with and implementation of international, national, European, as well as US foreign trade and export control regulations
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide advice and support in sanctions and other compliance related matters on a group-level and to specific local affiliates
- Develop, maintain, communicate and update export control and sanctions policies, procedures and guidelines
- Execute sanctions and other compliance related compliance initiatives
- Develop, arrange and conduct compliance trainings for relevant employees
- Perform sanction screening of counterparties
- Conduct internal compliance reviews and handle ad hoc projects as assigned
- Support the Chief Compliance Officer in compliance matters
Your qualification:
- Degree in law, economics or another discipline relevant to the role
- 5+ years of compliance, legal or audit working experience and at least 2+ years of working experience in the field of export control and sanctions (including OFAC and EU sanctions)
- Experience in a pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable
- Strong written/verbal communication, leadership, solid high-volume processing and analytical skills with the ability to work independently on multiple assignments in a deadline driven, regulatory and risk intensive environment
- Fluent English, other languages are a plus
