We are looking for an Operations Research Analyst (all genders) with a background in Operations Research (OR) to join the LATAM team within Logistics Product Operations on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.
Our mission:
Logistics Product Operations executes Delivery Hero’s vision to always deliver an amazing experience by shaping global Logistics products into winning solutions, to serve our local entities (brands) and ecosystems, and to grow a sustainable business. We have 3 core users in our Logistics ecosystem who are at the heart of everything we do: Customers who place orders for delivery, Vendors who accept & prepare orders, and Riders who deliver our orders.
A vital part of rider operations is the optimal assignment of orders to riders.
Your mission:
- You will own relevant business KPIs, product performance and product usage in the LATAM region
- You interact with and support our operations stakeholders in the LATAM region
- You proactively find areas for improvement backed up by data, are innovative in seeking the best solution and execute in a timely and considered manner
- You support the roll-out of new products and features in the LATAM region which are aimed at improving our service quality, business performance and operational efficiency
- You provide management with regular performance reports, insights and presentations
Your heroic skills:
- You have gained at least 2+ years of professional experience interpreting data in an analytics or data science role
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, engineering, science, economics or another analytical based subject
- You have knowledge or experience in Operations Research (OR), expertise in routing algorithms a plus
- Strong knowledge of and experience with SQL and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau or Data Studio)
- You have solid exploratory analysis
- You are highly passionate about data, with creative problem-solving abilities and an eye for detail
- You are a team player and love to think outside the box
- You are highly motivated and communicative, independent and pragmatic in handling business challenges
- Highly curious and willing to question the status quo
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken (Spanish language a plus)
