Internship Leadership Analytics (m/f/d)

In the Corporate Human Resources unit, we are responsible for the HR governance in the BASF group. By developing focused HR policies, we execute our corporate strategy on employee-related topics. In addition, we design tools for the development and retention of Senior Executives, we support them in personnel matters and are responsible for strategic succession planning.

Responsibilities

During your internship in the field of people analytics in the team for analytics, data and process management, you contribute to enhance a data driven and evidenced based approach to develop best in class leaders who act with trust, courage, empathy and optimism to create chemistry for a sustainable future.

• To generate a basis for decision making, you will extract data from people related systems and join it with other data.
• You will apply advanced quantitative methods for data mining and predictive modelling.
• Through your innovative mindset, you will be able to find new ways to get and deliver insights from our leadership and pipeline data.
• Together with the team, you will produce concepts and implement a dashboard for evidenced-based steering of leadership development.

QUALIFICATIONS

• master’s degree or advanced stage of your IT-orientated and/or psychological bachelor studies
• knowledge about exploration, analysis and visualization of data
• first experiences with R, Python or another programming language for data processing and analysis like Alteryx
• ideally familiar with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
• fluent communication skills in English
