Job Description* Architecture and Interior Design firm is looking to bring on job captains/project architects to support their retail team. Our clients works closely with some of the world’s most recognizable brands to design spaces that are relaxing, productive, and rejuvenating. Firm has studios in 24 cities across the US and work across three different vertical markets. The retail studio has decided to become fully remote, and is open to hiring candidates from all across the US with no expectation to ever return to office. These job captains will be working under the general supervision of a senior project manager, providing support in design development, construction documents, and construction administration. In order to be considered for these positions candidates must: -Graduate of architecture or design school (equivalent experience may be substituted) -3+ years experience minimum in commercial interior design or retail -Expereince focused in Core&Shell/Building envelope
Highly skilled in Revit (must have used consistently in past 6 months) *Additional Skills & Qualifications*
Working knowledge of the range of design principles and aesthetics
Familiarity with space planning methodology
Familiarity with furnishings and finishes
Intermediate sketching and rendering skills
Intermediate interior architecture detailing skills
Working knowledge of CDs and procedures
Familiarity with building systems, codes and ADA requirements
Familiarity with requirements for the path of travel
Familiarity with contract administration
Commitment to support projects through peaks and valleys
