Internship in Materials Development focusing on solid-state batteries (f/m)

Your responsibilites
Carry out a study focussing on solid-state battery electrolyte based on polymer/elastomer composites
Review the state of the art of different material solutions for electrolytes in solid-state batteries
Investigate different processing methods to create extremely thin material sheets (tenths and hundreds of microns)
Carry out trials in a lab environment, including characterization and evaluation of results
Work across different departments within the organization in material development, engineering and laboratories and in close contact with Datwyler experts
Report on results, trials and analysis in a scientific manner
Our Requirements
BSc or MSc-student in the field of materials science (e.g. materials chemistry, chemical engineering, materials engineering, applied physics, etc.)
Good knowledge in materials and their characterization methods
Experience to work in a lab environment
Good analytical understanding and ability to report results in a scientific manner
Driven, motivated, independent, purposeful and communicative personality
Fluent in written and oral English skills (Level C1), German will be an advantage
