Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking to for Sr. PS Admin resource who along with Admin has supported PeopleSoft Application – HCM PayRoll with some DB2 experience to add to our team as we continue to grow our Client base.
The candidate must be able to assist Admin team in delivering Oracle Applications solutions according to application management support contract. This role has overall performance responsibility for understanding current architecture and setup. This role requires experience with Admin work including installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting complex issues involving PeopleSoft and DB2 database.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily support for Incidents and change requests and provide direction to the team.
Provide vision how to bring enhancements and improvements in current setup.
Responsible for automation of tasks and resolution of major issue that might impact the SLO.
Understand the priorities and can plan/prioritize the work based on those priorities
Communicate the technical solution/risks to the client to effectively manage the delivery
Provide on call support
This role can be performed from Ottawa, Markham, Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
7+ years of technical experience as PS Admin preferably supporting PeopleSoft HCM application including Pay Roll, T&L and Integration broker etc.
Minimum 5 years experience performing technical tasks.
Experience in Oracle or DB2 databases for performance monitoring etc.
HCM Techno-Func resource with Admin experience, especially performance related tasks for impact analysis and making technical decisions
Experience with large, redundant/high availability PeopleSoft implementations
Experience in performance optimizations, troubleshooting of complex PeopleSoft implementations
PeopleSoft Administration on Unix/Linux; and Oracle or DB2
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with senior and executive management levels
Security clearance: Canada – Enhanced Reliability
Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise
Preferred working experience in the Public Sector
At least 5 years’ core technical tasks, installation, configuration, design, load balancing
1 year experience on Peoplesoft payroll.
IDM exposure with SSO enabled
PeopleSoft HCM support Payroll, T&L and Integration broker
Must have the ability to work in Canada without sponsorship.
