The Opportunity

The Projects & Technology Analyst (IT Acquisitions & Integrations) will be responsible for supporting components of one or more technology and business projects including driving deliverables and work packages to completion. This is a great opportunity to gain experience as part of Westland’s broader transformation and growth strategy and get exposure to various competencies including business analysis, project management, testing & quality assurance, data migration, organizational change management, process redesign, workshop facilitation, technology selection and configuration, and so on.

In This Role You Will

  • Under the direction of program manager or project manager(s), team lead(s), and/or senior technical resources own work packages as part of broader project scope and drive to successful completion.
  • Conduct research and data collection to better understand technology, data, business processes, and employee/customer needs.
  • Perform gap analysis on processes, data, customer journeys, business requirements and technology capabilities.
  • Interview, observe, job shadow, and conduct research to better understand industry and project specific subject matter.
  • Create appropriate documentation of deliverables including presentations, reports, diagrams, workflow diagrams, spreadsheets, journey maps, etc.
  • Provide hands on support on project work components which may including requirements gathering, process documentation, configuration, testing, data migration, training documentation and delivery, communication material creation, pre- and post- go live support activities, as well as transition to operations support.
  • Use appropriate tools (i.e. Excel, SharePoint, Smartsheets, etc.) to stay organized and report on work progress as part of broader project reporting expectations.
  • Participate in Community of Practice and other learning forums to share knowledge, discuss challenges and progress your own and the team’s growth and development.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Here’s What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields
  • Experience working to deliver technology and/or business projects
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Self-starter, motivated to work through new challenges to deliver value
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the demonstrated ability to be methodical, and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking abilities
