This position is great for a highly organized, efficient, and energetic individual looking to join our growing team. The Opportunity

The Accounts Payable Clerk is an integral part of the Accounting team and will be working in support of external and internal customers.

In This Role You’ll

• Perform accurate and timely completion of accounts payable transactions
• Complete statement reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Apply receipts, issue customer/broker statements, process payment plans and assist in the collection of outstanding receivables
• Ensure that invoices are accurately and efficiently coded, verified and entered into the accounting system
• Respond to queries from our internal and external clients in a timely and professional manner
• Support the Accounting team and various internal clients as directed
• Assist with ad-hoc projects

Here’s What You Bring

• Post-Secondary training in accounting
• 1-2 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable department
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Customer service disposition with a desire to learn and grow
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
• High degree of accuracy and keen attention to detail
• Ability to identify, resolve and/or escalate issues using good professional judgement
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion
• Demonstrated ability to work in MS Office Suite and various ERP systems
