The Junior HR Operations & Reporting Analyst will partner with all functional areas within the People & Performance (HR) team and be the initial point of contact for all HR reporting inquiries.

The Opportunity

The Junior HR Operations & Reporting Analyst will partner with all functional areas within the People & Performance (HR) team and be the initial point of contact for all HR reporting inquiries. Key initiatives include assisting with ad hoc reporting/data requests, maintaining and updating data, documenting reporting processes, and research on a wide variety of topics relating to Ceridian Dayforce.

In This Role You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Compiling and analyzing data and metrics from the human resource information system (Ceridian Dayforce), and other sources.
  • Running recurring reports and performing key validations to ensure data accuracy.
  • Building and delivering monthly and quarterly analytical solutions such as reports, scorecards, dashboards, and presentations that display analysis and trending in a meaningful format.
  • Data and metric reporting including: Headcount and turnover reports, New hire reports, HR metrics, Reporting to analyze achievement of HR Program goals, Quality analysis reports to ensure the data entry is properly completed within Dayforce, Ad hoc reporting as required
  • Designing custom and/or running configured reports in Ceridian Dayforce as required.
  • Assisting managers with reporting requests.
  • Deliver on monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reporting requirements.
  • Providing support in the preparation of presentations and reports for management, including detailed analysis.
  • Conducting research on a variety of topics as required and compiling findings.
  • Supporting the HR team with any reporting, data, or research requests.

Here’s What You Bring

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, human resources, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrator or coordinator role
  • Previous experience in HRIS reporting/analytics in considered an asset
  • Exceptional analytical skills, problem solving skills, and creativity
  • Expert in excel and dashboards/presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and a steady volume of requests
  • Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
