Crop Farm Labourer – Harvesting Responsibilities Include

• Conducting soil tests and applying fertilizers
• Planting, watering and thinning seedlings
• Weeding rows of crops
• Operating farm equipment such as tractors and combines
• Harvesting fruits and vegetables by hand
• Checking for crop damage and reporting it to the supervisor
• Following instructions from the supervisor on when and what to harvest
• Placing harvested crops in the correct container or designated area
• Keeping the work area clean and free of debris
