About The Role
We are looking for a talented student in engineering / mathematics / finance / science fields to review and improve the financial modelling of our processes using an automated approach and appropriate IT tools that would integrate with our existing landscape. In addition, we are developing a chatbot and looking for an individual with experience building front ends. Our goal is to review a large number of financial records, test them against a pre-defined set of rules, identify any missing information and generate accordingly a correction in a format that is intelligible to the subledger. The processes are executed in Python and need to be easy enough to be maintained by non-expert programmers. We already implemented a tool that reviews the modelling of selected intra-group transactions.
About Us
We are the EVM L&H team, part of the Accounting and Reporting department of Swiss Re. We perform financial analysis on life insurance policies and extract performance indicators used for capital allocation and asset management. We offer a flexible working environment with focus on the final goal.
About You
You are a student in engineering / math / finance or any other science discipline with a good knowledge of programming languages and are looking for a flexible and part time job that could introduce you to the world of financial services.
You work independently and are able to organize your activities as a project. You are not afraid of complex tasks and you feel comfortable approaching other people.
The starting time is as soon as possible until end of December 2022.
