Head of Recruiting

In this role you will be responsible for the recruiting department of BCG Switzerland on operative and strategic topics as well as for the management of ten team members.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Close collaboration with BCG Switzerland’s leadership team as well as regional and global recruiting leadership
• Close collaboration with and sparring partner of various other internal departments (Finance, Staffing, Learning & Development, etc.) on a variety of topics e.g. onboarding plans, budget, employee retention, etc.
• Close collaboration with BCG offices/systems in Europe and globally
• Budget responsibility
• Responsibility for setting and reaching the constantly increasing hiring and diversity targets of a recruiting year
• Being a sparring partner for the various recruiting channels by providing input, guidance, and leadership
• Deciding and leading annual focus topics, recruiting strategies and pipeline management for a variety of recruiting channels (business, non-business, Laterals, MBAs, female, diversity, employer branding, etc.)
• Responsible for standardized processes, e.g. interview- and recruiting-processes
• Organization of workshops and trainings
• Overseeing recruiting controlling
• Direct management of a team (10 headcounts)

• Managing various topics simultaneously
• Understanding the big picture while having an eye for the detail
• People management, development, and retention
• Constantly finding new, innovative ways to improve recruiting processes and source candidates and position BCG in the market

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• Completed studies or certificate of advanced studies and/or higher with profound knowledge in HR
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a comparable position
• You have demonstrated leadership and team management skills as well as close interaction with a company’s management level
• Very good knowledge of English and German (C1 or higher) is a mandatory requirement
• Professional experience in the consulting industry or a comparable field is an asset
• You’re a self-starter and enjoy working independently and in teams; you display consideration and respect for others and put the team’s success ahead of your personal opinions
• An open, creative mindset paired with an outgoing personality

You will work within our highly motivated and professional Swiss recruiting team and closely together with various stakeholders, such as our local practice area leaders or global talent acquisition specialists.
